Deadpool 2 for me was just as good as Deadpool. There is always an issue with sequels as most of the time the sequel isn't as good as the first film. However, I don’t think this is the case for Deadpool 2, I think it is just as good as the first Deadpool. Some people believe this one is better than the first yet others believe it's the other way round.
Wade Wilson (AKA. Deadpool) brings together a team of fellow mutant rogues to protect a young boy with supernatural abilities from the brutal, time-traveling cyborg, Cable.
Just like the film, Deadpool 2 is full of humour and action. Especially at the beginning there are moments that make you go 'what the fuck?!?'
Along with these 'wtf' moments, there is lots of humour just like the previous film. Although, with this humour there are moments that could make members of the audience cry. There is a good balance to invoke a range of emotions. A speech made by Deadpool near the end is very moving and inspiring. At no point whilst watching this film are you bored or switch off from what is happening.
In this film Deadpool gets his own team made up of random people; along with these new characters all the old characters are back. This film doesn’t disappoint and the ending is surprising and hilarious. Just like all marvel films there are extra scenes at the end of the film during the credits which are just as good as the main film.
The acting in this is amazing and believable. Each character is unique in their own way yet everyone feels like they belong in that world and film. Along with the great acting; the soundtrack is just as good and enjoyable to listen to. The music was effective but also added comedic effect to the scenes and action happening.
There is debate whether this film is as good as the first one however no one can decide but I would still go watch it again as it was very enjoyable to watch.
